Civil War on Sunday - Clothes

During the Civil War time period, women and girls wore long dresses, men and boys wore long sleeved shirts, and scratchy pants. Nurses wore long black skirts, and black long sleeved shirts. The soldiers wore uniforms. The Union wore blue uniforms, and the Confederacy wore gray uniforms. The only accessories were leather knapsacks.
